August 07 – Canute announce new site in Purfleet.
The Canute Group have acquired another site in Purfleet adjacent to the Head Office building on London Road. The facility will be used for the transhipment of goods across all our divisions and will also operate up to 30 vehicles to service London and the South East.
The requirement for the second site in Purfleet has been long overdue, as Managing Director Noel Marshall notes, “The rapid growth of our Retail and Healthcare divisions have given us problems with space, but they are nice problems to have. The second site came available at the right time for us and it compliments our current facilities.”

June 07 – Canute open a 50,000 sq ft warehouse in Warwick.
The Canute Group have finally opened their long-awaited new warehouse in Warwick. Providing warehousing services for the Retail division along with dedicated and network distribution, Warwick will act as a Midlands hub to connect the other networked sites.
Operations Director Wayne Marshall believes the Warwick site will play a crucial role in the development of the Canute Network. "A Midlands presence provides a solid platform on which to develop our dedicated retail services. Customers want suppliers to provide a one-stop solution from pick & pack to delivery and this site enables us to do this.

June 07 – Canute commence deliveries for TM Lewin.
The Canute Group have commenced deliveries for TM Lewin, in London and the South East. The successful high street shirtmaker has joining a rapidly expanding portfolio of retailers on a dedicated vehicle basis.
With another high profile brand join the Canute Retail division, Commercial Director Nick Wood believes this market will continue to provide substantial growth for the Group. “Our partnership approach particularly suits this market as the challenges presented by the retail sector, namely seasonal volumes, require both customer and supplier to work together to overcome them successfully. More retailers are recognising this and are offering us the opportunity to work with them”.
