Modular Building Solutions

CIMS offer a medical modular building service offering fully-fitted, air conditioned and ventilated modular solutions for MRI, CT, X-Ray, Operating Theatre, Critical Care or Catheter Laboratory.

Significantly, the buildings are completely re-locatable with the machine installed. The modules can be lifted into position within a day and just require connection to electrical and water services to enable them to be commissioned.

Each module is bespoke, designed to your exact requirements and fully fitted out by craftsmen in our 130,000 sq ft factory.

With a life-span of 60 years and a range of different exterior finishes, such as brick finish or powder coated panels, these modules will blend into your external environment whilst maintaining the highest quality finishes inside.

The module is delivered fully fitted out with all furniture, IPS mounted wash hand basin, clinical sink, floating base and wall cabinets & worktops. Suspended ceilings and anti-static vinyl floor covering complete the picture.

All areas of the module are fully air conditioned and the scanning room and control room are serviced by forced air ventilation for staff and patient comfort.

A full range of medical gas outlets are provided and piped up to the perimeter of the module, ready for connection to the main supply point.

There are a range of options and finishes to choose from and we can supply and fit any number of additional modules (eg: Sub-wait, reporting room, changing area etc) to support the operation of the equipment.

We can also blend in the transition between the main building and the connecting module so that no-one will even know they have entered a module!

We can carry out all necessary ground works and electrical/water/drainage alterations to facilitate the installation whilst the module is being built. Every contract is managed by a dedicated and experienced project manager who will be present throughout.

CIMS has full CAD design capability and will produce plans to your exact requirements whilst our CDM/Health & Safety officer will liaise with your team to ensure all regulations are complied with.

At hand-over, you will be presented with a full O & M file (Electronic & hard-copy) and we offer on-going maintenance contracts to maintain the installation.
